Each week, south London writer and comedian Daniel Ruiz Tizon, a man with a financially crippling latte addiction, writes a letter to people and places, loved and lost.

Comprised of six interlinking episodes, The Letter is an elegy for Daniel’s past.

Each instalment sees Daniel interviewed by a mysterious, often different, American talk show host. Gradually, as the weeks unfold, the events that led to Daniel’s life unravelling in a Pimlico hotel in Christmas 2010 all fall into place and the identities of his enigmatic interlocutors are finally revealed.

Daniel recalls his time living in a hotel in the final months of 2010, a period that led to the moment when his life finally changed, and the identity of his enigmatic interlocutors are at last revealed in a surprising series finale.

Gradually, as the weeks unfold, the events that led to Daniel’s life unravelling in a Pimlico hotel in Christmas 2010 all fall into place and the identities of his enigmatic interlocutors are finally revealed.

Daniel writes to his dad, an eccentric, maddening figure whose disappearance in the summer of 2002 still haunts him, but that somewhat disturbingly, still doesn’t quite overshadow his spectacular break in into his missing father’s bedsit that displayed a hitherto unseen agility his highly athletic dad would’ve been proud of.
