Please Don't Hug Me 50 SPECIAL

Growing old and they don't like it

15 November 2011

The show with more rhinoplasty than GCSE’s celebrates its 50th show with a 100-minute special that features the return of old PDHM favourites.

Micky, just turned 40, discovers Daniel’s old school reports. Roisin Rae is pro-hugging, whilst Fat Man On A Couch Stuart Armstrong has a fear of flying and Clay Lowe has been waiting for Daniel to call him for the last year.

Reunited 9 months on from their epic Christmas show, Daniel restructures the show especially for arch slacker Micky.

Please Don’t Hug Me is presented by TV writer & comedian Daniel Ruiz Tizon and former 1980s school sprint champ, Micky Boyd.

Please Don't Hug Me is written and produced by TV writer, comedian, Sabotage Times columnist, sometime football journalist and all too often temporary office worker, Daniel Ruiz Tizon. He is joined every week by old school friend and 1980s school sprint champion Micky Boyd, who still believes in him. Each blames the other for the 13-year break in their friendship from 1990 to 2003.

Daniel has his new transitional hairstyle as he starts the long preparation for turning 40 in 2012 (41 years before his predicted death); Micky looks back at his nearly-trial with Chelsea back in '87; the ordeal of being a guest or host; Fat Man on a Couch Stuart Armstrong on his fear of becoming a regular anywhere; and an illicit meeting with an American culminating in a refusal to high five.
